Window Box Corner Window Sill Indoor Gardening Art Deco Style
An indoor planter designed specifically to sit neatly on a window shelf. The planter is made from all re-purposed 18mm chunky timber. The timber is sanded and then carved with the distinctive deep deco style grooves and a unique shape. The box is then carefully assembled using exterior grade adhesive and screws. The box is then fitted with hand made trim pieces at each corner to neatly finish off the box.
I then make small feet to lift the box off the surface and clear the standard double glazing trim so that the box slides neatly into position. I make a left hand version and right hand version.
The box is 47cm long, 27cm deep, 14cm high and 8.25l in volume.
The box is finally lined with a waterproof liner to prevent water leaking onto the shelf.
